I have search the internet and have not come up with a number. Anyone know what is the specified torque for the bolts that hold the drive flange to the hub (8 - 3/8" 12-pt bolts)? Thanks for the help

Can't find my Haynes manual right this second but the FSM for my 85 says 30-40 ft-lbs for the external locking hubs. Ill try to find my Haynes and see what it says about the drive flange.

Chilton says 30-40.. drive flanges replace hubs (right?) so the same torque would apply since its the same application. there is also floating around a "general torque spec" with bolt sizes, grades, and general torques.
