I'm building a dodge 60 front and would like to know what everyone thinks about the high steer arms on the market today. Is there one better than the other. If so why, why not. I know there are differences and pros/cons. I would like to see what everyones advice would be from different points of view.

What type of joints will you be running, heims or TREs? Minor, but could make a small difference in you choice.

What kind of steering? Crossover(aka with a drag link) or full hydro?

Yes, there should be a difference.

If it is crossover, I have a new set of Sky Manufacturing arms I would let go for $300 shipped and they have a complete new set of studs, tapered washers, and nuts.

I am partial to Solid Axles knuckles and high-steer combo.

Reason being, the knuckles and high-steer arms use a massive keyway to hold them together, removing all shear loading from the studs.

Even if you are going a cheaper route, I'd still recommend having whatever arms you decide on machined to accept a key way, as well as the knuckles it is a superior method for upgraded and modified kingpin steering.

I agree with the SOLID products, but most people dont want to swing that kind of money. If you were running full hydro id say run the SOLID but if not buy the arms from Andy.

These are the "springless" arms I use...

can you get these with no tapered holes for tre's, to run full hydro
