Dana 60 King pin broke axle or hub?

Went wheeling this weekend and broke something in the driver side. I can't tear the jeep down any time soon just trying to figure out what it might be.

If you grab the (ujoint knuckle) on the axle shaft you can side it side to side about (1/4"-1/2"). It's locked in the front and the driver side wheel isn't spinning.. The hub still unlocks fine...

Any ideas? Why would the axle slide side to side? The passager side doesn't move at all. I imagine that how it should be
 
So you are saying that the axle shaft can slide in and out of the back of the knuckle (axially) 1/4-1/2"? If so I think you broke the locking hub internals or snapped off the end of the stub shaft.

Yes... As I looked at it some today. I locked the hub and the axle locked in like it should and unlocked it and the axle would unlock.. When it was locked in you couldn't spin it by hand....

It's just bugging me. I'll pull it apart soon to find the issue just trying to get an idea before then
