Dana 60 King pin

I have a dana60 kingpin under my xj and the Turing radius sucks.. Is this normal?

No it isn't inherently going to be bad.

What kind of steering do you have? Crossover, high steer or inverted? What length pitman arm and where do your steering links connect to?

Picture attached.

Pitman arm is like 2-4" maybe
I mean it isn't that bad but it isn't a d30. Epically in 4low it really sucks it's like the back is just pushing the front around

The first thing to verify is the length of the pitman arm between holes and ensure the distance from center of kingpin to center of drag link connecting hole is very close to pitman arm length.

What pitman arm are you running?

It may just be the photo angle, but do you know the source of the tie rod?
It looks like both tires may be toed out as if the tie rod is to long. If it is you wont get full range of motion.

jack up the front end and take the tie rod off of the pitman arm. manually turn the wheels each way until they hit the turning stops = the bolts near the center of the outer knuckle that face inward that limit the turning radius. then compare the allowed swing of the pitman arm to that. betcha its NOT the axle itself. may even be that you aren't centered in the stroke of the box itself. but this will give you the info that you need. remember that a locked rear will push your rig straight even if the wheels are turned lock to lock.

I assume that you have enough stroke on that ram?

also, if you dont have them- please consider safety washers on those heims.

That's the camera lens making it look like that. Even normal camera lenses have a bit of "fish eye" when taking pictures close up.

Your Ackermann angle and scrub radius are helping you out any, but Im with others. Bet the issue is pitman to steering arm ratio.

Also, if you are going to the stops, check to make sure the stops are allowing the max amount of useable steering.
