Dana 60 spindle nut socket size?

I cant find anywhere that carries or lists a part # for this socket. Its a 79ish dana 60 out of a dodge. Everything I have read about dana 60 spindle nut sockets refers to 4 or 6 pin sockets, but my spindle nuts are not keyed. It is just a big ass nut, approximately 2 7/8". Any ideas on where to get the correct socket?

the correct size is 2 9/16th's, I will have to check when I get home, but I am pretty sure that is the correct size

and Napa, or Oreilly auto parts, around $30, they had to order mine

u could also try a place that works on trucks (MD &up), cuz they sometimes sell the sheet metal sockets used for spindle nuts.... dunno the size though

I think it's 2 9/16" I got my socket off amazon.com for like $18

I'll see if I can track down a 2 9/16" to try. I picked up a 2 1/2" last night and its too small.
Anyone out there with a dodge 60 know for sure?

PM cj7jakfitch he has several dodge dana 60's he is working on right now. He may be able to help you out with the size.

i bought my sockets at advance auto. all mine are for different ford axles. i do remember seeing them on the shelf that will fit on a dodge 1 ton.

Yeah it is 2 9/16th's, got home and checked

and I have Dodge dana 60's front and rear

both front and rear use the same size
