Dana 60 High Steer Cross-Over Steering Kit

Barnes 4wd is proud to offer the best Dana 60 high steer cross-over steering kit on the market, complete with high quality 1 ton tie rod ends. This kit is a huge upgrade over your stock steering, bigger tie rod ends, stronger 1.5"O.D. x 1/4" wall D.O.M. and if you ever have a mishap on the trail, replacement tie rod ends are easily obtained at the nearest auto parts store. All of the inserts in this kit have a machined hex, so all of your steering adjustments can be made with an open end wrench.

Here are a few of the options offered with the kit.

Standard or high angle tie rod end for the pitman arm: The standard tie rod end will be the same end that is used on the tie rod (part# ES2234R) this tie rod end will not have as much misalignment as the high angle tie rod end (part# ES2026R). Since the tie rod end at the piman arm generally sees more misalignment than the rest of the steering system the high angle joint is usually the best here. The taper on the high angle tie rod end is also larger but the same angle (7° or 1.5" per ft) so you may have to ream your pitman arm deeper to accommodate this tie rod end, we offer the reamer here.
With or without tubing: Some people like to source there tubing locally and some people get it with the kit. Or prices are very competitive with most local welding shops, however the option is totally up to you.
Grade 10.9 or A.R.P. mounting studs: Both studs types are great products and highly recommended. Choose which ever type you prefer.

Dana 60 Y-link Steering Kit With High Steer Arms

Sometimes its just not possible to fit crossover steering on your rig this is where our Y-link steering kit can save the day. If you are having to work around leaf springs or other suspension components, space for steering can be hard to find. This kit uses high quality, heavy duty GM 1 ton tie rod ends and 1.5" x 1/4" wall D.O.M., making your steering kit a worry free part of your build. All of the tube inserts have a hex machined on them to make steering adjustments a breeze, no more using a pipe wrench on the tubing you only need an open end wrench or an adjustable wrench.
