I have a SRW Ford HP 60 out of a 79. I am going to run H1's, but would like a little less backspacing without recentering the wheel and without buying expensive spacers if possible?

Is there a way to get any use out of this extension??? It is out of a Dodge IFS front end? My other obvious options include wheel spacers, DRW hubs, recentering the wheels. I will likely end up using drive flanges rather than locking hubs.

Seems like it might be possible to get the stud holes on the SRW hub machined to be threaded, and thread through the mounting flange on that DRW hub looking extension, if you say that's an extension rather than a DRW hub.

Sort of... you can tell its for a 2wd or some auto hub deal though. Machine would work probably be necessary for bearing spacing unless you did the flange to WMS on the SRW hub as mentioned earlier. Not sure how integral that would be though.

I would think that DRW hubs are your best option if you didn't want to recenter the wheels. I don't think that the HP60s and regular 60s use the same hubs (ford versus dodge/chevy), but within a week or so I will have a pair of DRW hubs for sale, for what it's worth.
