I know there's already an old thread but looking to get a dash cam for my work truck and technology changes so fast. I'm seeing many for $50+/- so wondering who's bought what lately and what should I look for and what not to get?
I don't need front and rear cams and cigarette lighter power is fine with me.
Thanks.

I was talking with a guy at sema in the Cobra booth. He was saying they can get wonky with extreme temps. The ones they have use some kind of tech that can work in any temperature. You want one to be reliable, so I wouldn’t spend less a 100$ on one. Check out cobra 2208. Basic and $100.

Have 2 Roav cams, $80ish on Amazon plus ultra sd card

rom the wife’s cam...

that is a wake county sheriff in front of her....

Good thing he was messing on his laptop

Any new tech on this? My last one sucked so bad I took it out. Have had two close calls lately and want to get new cams because both were probably intentional close calls.
Easy to operate is the key word here. I dont need any micro buttons and complicated operating details.
