My wifes jeep grand cherokee needs tires.

Any reason not to put Michelin LTX M/S's on it?

Any recommendations on other tires?
 
They are expensive. Thats the only reason. I've ran many tires through the years, and always been happy with the LTX M/S's.
 
I've had Firestone Destination AT's on my Cherokee for around 5 years now. I like them and the wear seems good. They run around 500-520 for a set of 4.
 
just put 235-70-16 LTX MS 2s on the wifes Escape for $744 - a mail in $70 rebate or $674 @ the local Ford Quick lane. They are fantastic, quiet,smooth and unbeatable in rain. I had the LTX MS on my S-10 and never slowed down in any amount of rain, ponding on the road, put 70k+ hard miles on them.
 
Just buy something made by Goodyear so I can continue to have a job.

Also I have coupons! but it's only like $20 off each
