Looking for recommendations on good truck dealers that have a better than average selection on the 1-ton dually type rigs or specializes in these. Also if anyone has experience dealing with any place on these things (good or bad). Kernersville Dodge seems to be a big dealer in the Rams which isn't too far for me but I have no clue about the dealership itself (anyone ever deal with them?). Also looking for Chevrolet or Ford dealer(s) that might come with a recommendatino of either a good (or bad) experience and that might have a better selection of knowledge about these rigs. So many places either have none or maybe 1 rig on the lot and the sales guy is clueless. Good/bad experiences also would be nice to hear. I'm happy to drive a ways for a good dealer or inventory to look around. NC would be best to make the DMV part simplest at the point I actually buy something, but I'd be open to SC/Va as well if there is some reason to recommend.

Thanks!

I bought my truck from kernersville dodge. I didn't look too hard at 1 tons but they had over 100 2012 3/4 ton trucks when I was browsing. They had more used too.

The lot was huge. The trucks were packed in there. I had to go in and find somebody to help me. Kind of odd for a dealership. Once I found somebody they were very helpful.

Kville dodge is one of my stops( i am there snapon dealer). Let me know and i can get you up with the sales guy we use. We have bought 2 cars from them.

Capital Ford in Raleigh has a ton of new fords on their lot, not sure about their used inventory though. As far a the dealership itself I have heard a lot of good things from some friend and coworkers who have bought from there. Leith Auto in Wendell also comes highly recommended, and they have a GMC, Dodge/Ram, and Ford dealership all on the same property.

I bought my 2011 ram 3500 drw from Big O Dodge in Greenville, SC. Jake owns the place, he's a wheeler and a cool dude. He will definitely take care of you. Pm me if you want his number.

Got my 2012 from Kernersville dodge. They weren't pushy and got a good deal on it.

I've never bought from Kernersville but if I were to buy a new truck it would be from them. The time I was up there with my buddy looking at a truck I was impressed with there service.

Great! I appreciate all the advice...keep em coming if others have something to add. If I end up buying a new truck, I'm going to take my time and look around awhile with this one because they're going to have to bury me in it at these prices.

never bought from Kernersville dodge but they do have a lot of inventory. I never got any help when I went up there and looked and neither did my friends. Ive heard too many bad things about them. look up their BBB rating last I checked it was a C. I have dealt with empire dodge in Wilkesboro and have had much better service, that's where my friend ordered his four door jk from beat everyone elses prices just had to drive an hour to sign paperwork and pick it up

A couple years ago I thought I was going to buy a new truck. Steve White in Hickory had by far the best prices, but as usual, the salesmen didn't know much. Was fine with me, as I'd already read about them till I found the end of the internet.

Yeah, I agree. Selection and price are far higher on my list than salesman knowledge. I want to see the options/features for myself, I've read a ton about them already. thanks for the info!

X2 on Capital Ford in Raleigh. Have bought from there, and would again if I needed a big truck.

X2 I've bought from them. We do some work for Autoworld of Lenoir, they always stock quite a few diesels and one of the few Indy dealers that I've worked for that will fix a vehicle right regardless of cost.
