death wobble with leaf springs

Had it before with coils, never with leaves. What would cause it with leaves? Ball joints? Steering components?

Most likely, a steering component. Tie rod & drag link ends. Idler arm, if you have any. Possible mis-alignment issues.

Spring bushings, shackle bushings, improper castor angle from putting a longer shackle on, sloppy kingpin bearings...

It doesnt do it all the time. Very rarely in fact. Only when I hit a harsh bump or a set of railroad tracks????

worn tires and everything said above. If i put my iroks on i get it but with my bfg's is great.

Tires are cupped pretty bad. Also front springs were changed by previous owner to some that were meant for a f250. Could this be my prob?
