To all volunteers, future 'wannabe' volunteers and all those interested in the Uwharrie National Forest - Badin Lake Recreation Area- Specifically the 'Off-Highway Vehicle Trails'.

We will be having our 3rd annual Uwharrie Rendezvous at the Eldorado Community Center located approx. 1 mile North of the Eldorado Outpost and UORTC.

We request all clubs that have a 'Adopt-a-Trail' and those interested in adopting one attend! We will meet from 5 til 7 PM. Major points of discussion will be: Work accomplished in 2014, focus on work to be accomplished in 2015, TREAD Lightly! and much more!

Free 'Give-a-Ways' to all attendees. Attendance by the USFS -so bring your questions!

Come hungry! We will be feeding everyone so we will need a head count!

Please sound off below and let us know you are coming and want these trails to stay open!!!

Please show up in numbers. My understanding is some of the higher ups will be at this meeting from the usfs. This is our time to have our voices heard.

We can have one by then. We will also have paperwork on hand for new clubs / old clubs to renew their trail sponsor stuff.

This may be a silly question, but are only clubs allowed to adopt a trail?

Shaggy

Can have multiple clubs on one trail already yes. If an individual wanted to adopt something I would probably recommend something like the double parking lot or one of the main trails. Me and the wife have talked extensively about this ourselves as I am up there so often .

But hey. If you want an entire trail I say go for it. Too much for my old ass though.

Is there a current list of what trails have been adopted and by whom? I searched and found a list, but it was from a couple years ago...

Shaggy
Attached is a old one. I emailed Terry asking for a updated one. I have not had a response.

Hey Scott @UORTC. Can we get rid of that second page of that adopt a trail thing here ? Wife is just not a fan of people having my home address so easy to find.

Thanks much.
