I figured someone might enjoy these pictures from the Winston-Salem Christmas parade yesterday. We got a lot of positive comments from the crowd and much finger pointing from the little kids.

Maya wasn't able to get any good pics along the parade route but the few pics we did get are at http://webwheeling.com/gallery/v/Joel/Locations/
 
Amazingly enough I used some common office binder clips and took off the chromed metal pieces. It held the lights on and didn't budge at 70+ MPH on the interstate getting downtown and back.
 
Looks good Joel! Keep 'em on for Christmas Wheeling adventures! Imagine the looks you'd get on a night trail ride!

Did the FJ too for Holly Springs' parade today... ~100ft of lights.

The pace of the parade was perfect.. low range, 1st gear, idle.:p

oh yeah.. LOTS. and only one "nice Jeep" comment..

Best one was a guy in a MINT '69 'Vette (sidepipes and all) that pulled up to the gas station as we were loading back onto the trailer and commented "bad ass cruiser".. Coming from him (and what HE was driving), that's a helluva compliment.. Had a nice chat.

next year we need an nc4x4 showing at the local parades, fuquay, holly springs, etc
 
That would have been good.. I know the kids would have loved some "poser" stuff like tire stacking and stuff like that.. but the guys on the float in front of me weren't willing to let me do that.. :p
