Hermine got the buffet jump started, pic from fri. White, black and red oaks are full of acorns round here. I just bought my first leafy suit and looking forward to trying it out.

Ready for NC and still prepping in VA.
Spent yesterday on the tractor bush hogging out a few food plots. Hitting them with the disc today then seed goes down.
With all the acorns dropping right now I too grabbed a new 3D suit and another Summit Viper SD. I refuse to get skunked like I did last time acorns were hot.

Velvet is falling off. Guy on the right is on the hit list for this year. One on the left will be a monster next year if he can stay off neighboring property.

yup. starting to get ready now for it. our season doesn't come in till the beginning of October. I can hunt in caswell county though, but don't know if ill have time to hunt much early. just put a camera out Monday and checked it today. only a small basket racked buck, bear, and coyote. plus some does. I let some nice ones walk last year, some I'm hoping to run into a big one. my buddy I hunt with got a nice 1 on his cam.
