Anyone know where to get them? I would prefer to support a local business near Raleigh, if possible. Looking for ST205/75R15's. I want load range D's. I hear Denman's are the way to go.

I have searched around the board and also found where some people bought Maxxis tires back in 2006. Have they been working good for you?

Any help?

Benjie - stepping up to the 225's (in a D, approx 2500lbs a tire) will give you a nice safety margin in weight capacity for just a few more bucks.

That is in my plans to look into as well. I just need to measure to make sure they will fit inside the fenders. I didn't know when I posted this at work. What tires are on your trailer??

If for some reason I needed to make a really loooooong trip with the trailer, I want good tires. ehem....

Maxxis 8008s ftw! :D I work at a tire store and that's all we carry other than a few small sizes of Carlisles. I've never heard any complaints or seen problems with blowouts. I'd buy some if I needed tires for my trailer.

^^^ Thanks for the info. I have heard the Maxxis 8008s were a good tire. I will check into them.

Benjie, I have been running Interco trailer tires for about a year now. So far so good, I would buy another set. I got mine from 4 wheel parts in raleigh.

The sidewalls of my tires do stick out from the trailer fenders a little, but the tread never rubs. Mine are *gasp* Carlisle *gasp* radial something something. I was in a bind a few years back and needed trailer tires, and the only place that had true trailer tires only had the Carlisles. He was the one who suggested I go up to the 225's in LR D, and I haven't had a single issue in the ~3 years I've had them other than a puncture (plugged).

I do check the pressure every time I go out, and they are balanced as well. Maybe I got a good set. I wouldn't hesitate to take a long trip with them, but that's just me.
