Have a friend that wants to sell a set of deuce and half axles. One front and two rears. I cannot say I am familiar with these axles. They look like an oversized 9" and not the usual top loaders. Is there any value of these in the off road scene? If so, any ideas on on value? Thanks

those look like the GM 2.5 tons. From what I have seen, they dont bring much in the offroad world ( Ive seen upto $500). I believe that Odell ran something similar in a rig, so he may be able to chime in.

they are the GM 2.5ton and will have 6.17 gears instead of the 6.72 found in the top loaders. Alot of faster mud trucks run them for their lighter weight and about the same strength. I've seen on truck gone wild forum bring close to a grand

I sold mine for $400. I parted out the whole truck. I know I still have the t case. had them for several yrs. let me know what your friend wants for them.

How much do they weigh???
That is what is thinking, figured I would make the effort to give him an educated a value though.

That is what we are trying to determine. If interested make an offer and I will pass along.

From the pics I received, looks like the bolts would come out. See pics above

Just wanna modify this a little. They do look like GM 2.5 tons and they are 6.17 gears. The axles the fast mud trucks are running arnt these but still worth trying to post them on here or on the trucks gone wild forum. If they are cheap enough I'm sure someone will come snag them up
