Did 90-91 wrangler....what trans...

Does anyone know if they put the AW4 behind Wranglers that had a four cylinder engine?? A guy wants to know if he can put my AW4 in place of the 5 spd. on his 90 that has the four banger.

AW4's never came in wranglers, 4 or 6cly...I would look for a 904. That way he can still use his tcase and driveshaft length will not change
