Did some fishing yesterday

Took Dad (71) up to Helton Creek in Ashe Co for the opening of delayed harvest fishing. Caught about 20 the my biggest was the 16" Brown. Good times

Nice! I have been fishing in Co. with my brother and caught about the same number. Man, those fish cooked up so nice. Little lemon and pepper in a foil packet. mmmmm. ;)

1/2 will be fried in House Autry Spicy, the other 1/2 baked w/ lemon and Old Bay.

Someday I will fish the Frying Pan in Co. Its somewhere in the #5-100 on the dream wish list :D
 
Cool. I went to a small reservoir in the mtns. near Colorado Springs and caught all of mine from the shore. We went to Eleven Mile near Salida and caught nothing.

Where is the Frying Pan at?
 
Nice!.. you ever been to Mitchell River, Up 77 and get off like you're going to Stone Mtn. but turn right on.... some damned old road...

Good Trout Fishin up there!
