and while the 5.0 Cummins in the Titan is cool, it's a little too big to get great mpg.

Yeah, but the Cummins guys with the 5.9 in a heavier truck brag about their 30 MPG. The Powerstroke guys with a 6.7 brag about their 30 MPG. The Duramax guys........

Im quite content with my 15 MPG and $1.63 gas.

Both gas and diesel motors have come a long way in the past 5 years or so. Either is better than the same type 15 years earlier.

Not necessarily in terms of economy for diesel...
Ok, make it 10 years, 5 years, whatever works best :D
They've been gaining in power and quietness, but the emissions thing made economy take a hit for a few years (08-11ish), and they seem to be digging back out of that hole. The current crop seem to get comparable mileage to the 7.3 Ford/5.9 Cummins/6.6 Duramax but are way smoother and quieter with a metric shit ton more power.

I hope they make a F150 Diesel. But that quote pretty much sums up Ford's idiotic attitude.... I'd rather have an eco diesel than an eco boost any day.

Did someone say ecoboost?
