Always goes up when it starts getting cool (even if it's just at night). Demand for fuel oil drives up the price of diesel fuel.

Does anyone else find it ironic that while the whole BP spill was going on, fuel prices dropped to the lowest they had been in 2-3 years, but as soon as they cap it, prices go back up past where they were before the spill? Potential government tricks and magic? Just sayin.

2.96 here, I think last time I bought fuel it was 2.65 probably 2 weeks ago. That's an insane increase from one tank to the next.
