Diesel shop in triangle

Woody, I've had these guys recommended to me on several occassions. Never done business there myself, but apparently they do a lot of the fuel system work for the dealerships in the area.

I don't think there is a REAL 100% Diesel Shop in NC

I wish there was like a 4 wheel parts place that not only sold stuff but also did work on trucks and was 100% Diesel Stuff. That would be cool. Then I could check out everyones tricked out trucks.:driver:

Greg,

Does the truck run enough to drive it, or would it need to be towed? If Jon doesn't take it, I'm game, but he needs to get it to Davie Co. Those injectors are cheap - the pump isn't so cheap - it's actually a pretty easy job. Let me know if I can help either way.

Greg,

If the unit is running rough (sucking air, etc) there is a replacement kit for rubber hoses - overflow system for the injectors - they look like plastic T's and you can buy a kit that comes with all the T's, hoses and clamps for around $50 bucks or so - basically it just hooks all the injectors together in series - The T's sit on top of the injector assembley and the hoses just push on the clamp - over time they will become weathered and will start leaking - therefore allowing the engine to suck air between the injectors - it doesn't take long at all to do this job - hope this helps, but I would check that first
