Who around does the best work on diesels? i need to get my 7.3 tuned up and don't really know any good shops. I get it serviced at a ambulance shop so its up to date on every thing but it needs to be tuned and checked out. It just isnt running the way it should. I think my chip and something are fighting each other.

Let me know where yall go. Looking for somewhere around Greensboro

I hope yours is cheaper to fix than mine. Mine was running like crap and they changed the Cam Sensor. After that I spent about $1700 to get it running right. Of course it has been about 5 years that I had the check engine light on. It's good now. Good luck finding one. The only place I found where i live was the dealer.

Try Tom's 4x4 in Lexington. I have heard that there is a guy there that is awesome with diesels.

There is a local guy here in charlotte. Pearsons diesel. He does mostly work on pulling trucks. His number is Jody, his number is 980-722-2475.

Tracy Horn in yadkinville does a lot of work on pulling trucks and work trucks. Some of the mexican carport guys have close to a 1,000,000 miles on there trucks. you can find the name and address on myspace.com. its about a hour from greensboro.

I work on alot of 7.3's mostly stock work trucks but i have seen the worst of the worst. And have a factory scan tool as well as other speciality tools I built to diagnose them with help from swamps diesel.
