I have a solid diff cover on my xj with a Dana 30 I really need a slimmer cover, to gain a little bit of clearance. Does anyone know of one that doesn't stick out as far.

A lot of people use this one. Protection on the bottom where you need it but clears the tie rod

JS-HD30 - Ramped HD Diff Cover for Dana 30 Housings

System Setup Required

Same thing at barnett, currie just resells it I believe.
Saw those. I put on a ruff stuff steering kit with the RAM mount above the tie rod. The heims are mounted from the underside of the steering knuckle. So they are lower and would probably hit the wedge

We do a lot of steering kits with Solid diff covers When we build our steering kits, we just put a small bend in the tie rod on one end.

A very handy product to use in your case would be offset heims that Ruff stuff (or maybe it's Barnes) offers.
And sorry, I must...

I grinded the cover to clear and it just touches at full lock. Wish I'd have seen those offset heims before. Might have to get some now.
