difference in shackles

so i've been looking at some shackles to add a little more lift on my jeep, i have seen so many different types of shackles, revolver, boomerang, z-box, regular, heavy duty and the list goes on. I think i like what i have read about revolver shackles, lay on top of each other on flat road. But what about the others, is there another route to go here with types of shackles?
