digital video camera?

I'm looking too. Biggest downfall for many models, and also most of the P&S cameras out there, is that most cameras don't have a viewfinder anymore, just the LCD. All is fine and good until you are at the beach, or in other bright light, and the LCD is washed out to where you can't use it.

I have a JVC and I love everything about it. Its has a huge hard drive and a 4 gig card for reserve. I'll have to dig up the model number. Its great and the price was right. It also has good accessories, ie: batteries, waterproof case, optional lenses, etc. etc. etc. It has really suprised me with all that it will do, and it takes less than 3 mins to upload the entire harddrive onto a computer.
