This is in the motorhome, not the house. Don't have to worry about The Man.
Adding and inverter and supplying only a couple of circuits from it (feeding back-end outlets and fridge). I am using a 5 port DIN rail distribution box, like this:
Amazon product ASIN B0B1LXFKKF
Problem being, I am in a super-tight space as far as getting wire to it (and running thru 90 degree 3/4" connectors). This distribution box has bus bars for grounds and neutrals. What I'd like to do is put a 4" square handy box right next to the distribution box (within 12"), join my neutrals and grounds there, and just bring the hots into the distribution box (#10 stranded supply, 2 #12 stranded outs). I could bring in a ground too, but that's kind of a moot point since the case is plastic.
I see no reason not to run it this way. I'll only have 3 (or 4) wires in and out of the box, instead of 9.
