Dinner Greenville NC

Marabella for Italian food. Good pizza.

Steaks. Nothing real fantastic around aside from the typical main chain type places. We don’t normally eat steak out because anytning that’s worthwhile is over $50/plate. Main and Mill in Winterville or DAP House in uptown are our go-to if we want a steak out but $25/plate is a a no-go, expect $50/plate by the time you get out of there with a drink and tip/taxes. Ford and Shep is another good local place.

Another local favorite is Villa Verde. About everything there is good.

If you like seafood and Mexican food, La Tavora across from Villa Verde is pretty good. We call it the Mexican seafood joint as they have a great selection of seafood and do all of them pretty good. My wife likes the ceviche and I like the octopus.

A good upscale Mexican joint is La Rancherita near Best Buy. They have good margaritas and a good selection of eclectic tacos and modern twists on the traditional Mexican dishes.

The hardware downtown is a good locals place with simple food and fair prices.

If you want good hand smashed burgers that are sloppy and good as well as good cheese steaks, Cubbies is the go to.

If you like sushi, there are several good choices too depending on day of the week.

If you like BBQ, there are several good choices around. Sam Jones/skylite, Bums in Ayden, and B’s BBq. Bums is good all around and B’s is as well, but it’s not a sit down kind of place. Sam Jones had a great atmosphere and good beer.

@rockcity thanks for the info as we hit a couple of your suggestions. One place I really liked is Amante Tacos and Spirits, nice outdoor setting with good food and even better mixed drinks.
They are good and have a good twist on classic tacos. But they can be a bit pricy for what ya get. Glad you enjoyed the eats
