I have a '75 Fj40 with Chevy 350, 4:88 locked frt & rear, 35's (want to go to 37's). I have mini truck disc conversion up frt. I have broke two birf's this year at URE!

Looking at the Dirty 30's because of cost. Anybody running them in truck axles, they are now available for the Fj40 axles.

I have read a lot about the Longfields & some on the Newfields.

I know Longfields would be my best choice, but if the Dirty 30's would hold up with my set up then I don't see spending the extra money. Trying to save up for a SOA conversion.

Any thoughts?

been running the longs for like four to five years no problems yet just had the outers for three years till I broke a stock inner....so longs is the way to go in my opp.....that's with a v6 with 5.29's and 39.5

Go with the longs....Longfield has awsome customer support.

With what i put longs through with rear steer,42's, and a V8, i would never buy anything else.. Great product and great customer service...

30 spline Longs in the Mangler!!! Them are some tough sons-a-bitches. Beat the fool out of that truck, sold it to Unbreakable Fab, and he still beats it daily with no problems.

There is a reason they are cheaper!

Longs are built in the USA and when you call, you talk to Bobby Long himself. I've been running the 30 spl. ones for years with no steering stops with out a single problem. Heres a vid of them in action... Oh, and those are 38.5s
