disappearing posts?

I had an ad about a week ago in wtb for YJ springs and got a reply from a guy who had a set cheap ($45.00), searched the forum this morning and my post and his reply are nowhere to be found.. Gremlins? .. or am I just an idiot?

Or click on your username at the top right where it says Welcome, user
Then "Statistics", then "Find all threads started by user
