disco tranny

i was thinking of buying that disco from dukelover and wanted you guy's thoughts on the tranny situation. i have had a 98 disco before and know how much a pain in the ass they can be, but they are great offroad. he says the trans wont move it in drive, but when manually shifted into 1st it moves. what you guys think. thanks

you can get an oem tranny for $900 sent to you, if i were going to replace it that would be my route just so you dont replace it for $400 with a junkyard tanny and it go out as well.
