I got my monthly Chewy order and they sent a bunch of 20% coupons for cat and dog flea and tick meds. I’ve already bought mine for the year (without a coupon FML) but I thought some of y’all pet owners might want one. It’s a code and I will pm you the code to use on chewy. I’m in no way paid, sponsored, or affiliated with them I just got these and want to pass it along if someone could use it. Shoot me a pm and I’ll shoot you a pic of the code. I have 11 to share. Some of the brands are Revolution Plus, NexGard plus, NexGard combo, Simpirica Trio. There may be more but that’s what is listed on the coupon.

Something I've noticed with Flea meds. This is with multiple dogs of varying breeds. It's also NC and FL confirmed.

I have given my dogs Flea meds for about 2 years and then forgotten to order more on several occasions. They have gone upwards of several years with out being administered more flea meds, and they never contracted fleas again. I don't have an explanation as to why, this is merely an observation I made with 6 different dogs. Indoor and outdoor dogs. Take it for what you will, or even enlighten me if you have a proper answer, but I think that the flea meds stay in their systems longer than advertised. there's just no money to be made in it if you don't have to give it to them every 6 month.

Fleas live in cooler, damp, shadier, areas where hosts live. Treat the host for a while and the pest and it's cycle dies. Not forever but for a while. Once the host collects another brood, the cycle starts over. Do regular treating for mosquitoes and other pests, maybe you interrupt that cycle also. If you have a lot of animals coming and going, this is all out the window.
