Well it's that time of year again! One of my favorite events, the SFWD annual Dixie Run at Tellico.

I am going up early that week, as in Monday evening or Tuesday morning early. The wife has to work and won't be able to come up till Friday afternoon, and my son has school, so I find myself with an empty seat. So, and trying hard not to sound bad, if I have wheeled with you in the past, and you would like to be a passenger for a few days, give me a shout. All you will need is your food, and a tent or what ever you want to sleep in, and come ride. You will need to register if you plan on being there Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Have to have an arm band to get in the main field. Regular duties of pulling cable, and taking pictures will apply LOL

I's say that's accurate. Can't miss it. It's on the right, pasat Crawfords. !st field is for RV's and trailers, 2nd field is for Camping, and third field is the vendor/check in/food/raffle stage/ and so on.
 
Crawfords offers better facilitys, as in Showers electric hook up and so on( if you get there or reserve in time) There will be a crowd at either. I go for the experience of the event and stay in the field
 
Think I can swing getting up there late Tues night or early Wed. morning. Prob stay at Crawford's cause the wifey likes the showers and I havent found a slide-in camper yet.
 
I am going up on Thursday, camping at Crawford's. They are filling up fast so if you want Crawford's call today.
 
I just called Crawford's and he said there's 2 left. He has 2 RV sites left but he has two RVs coming that are going to camp in the primitive camp area. He's going to try and move them to the RV area and that will free up the primitive camp spots. I got my name on the list but it sounds like it might not happen.

2nd Open Seat For Dixie Run

Basically same offer as Chip. I'll be riding Tues, Wed, Thur & Friday if someone wants to ride along. So if two people wanted to come together they'd both have a seat.
 
Just looked at the extended forecast

Looks like lower 70's for the highs all week and lower 40's for the lows. Perfect wheelin weather.
Chance of rain on Thursday, other than that, clear sailing!

And it is official, I won't have an open seat. Sorry
