windshield wipers for the inside of my yj?

being new to the yj world,( it started raining before i left the shop), i decided what the hell, i was already wet from pulling cars in, so i would drive the jeep anyway. i probably didn't get 100 yards before the deluge started. that was the longest, wettest, 20 miles i have ever driven. on the plus side, i got more thumbs up on the ride home than ever before.(even the mexicans who's passenger side window apparently didn't work, and they were covering up with a tarp)

Lee, pickup a teflon squegee about 6" long, the kind they sell for your glass shower surround, I have driven topless heeps through 8 summers and they come in very handy
 
Yep, squeegee works great. Better than the defroster, too, when it fogs over inside.
 
The scout has some tiny little vacuum wipers still hanging on the window frame. Take one and mount a suction cup on it, slap it on the inside of the windshield! You would be the cats ass!:D
 
"Find" one of those wooden handle windshield cleaners @ walmart or other location. Have used this method before on inside of windshield and while driving in the rain w/ bikini top & no doors.
 
I remember those days....'65 CJ-5 with one vacuum operated wiper on the outside. Only ran a bikini top and every time it rained would mist on the inside from the tire spray.

I kept Chamois "shammy" with me that seemed to work better than just a rag.

Ever since I gave up on the top on the 4Runner, the inside gets pretty "moist" when first running in the morning. The Rain-x makes it bead up reall small and drop down, no problems.
 
never went topless in a wrangler, but have been in a strom for 1.5 hours with an xj and no doors. the new headliner didnt like it much. me and another xj and a zj coming from ure. sunglasses sucked, fogged up every 2 mins. i'm not the kinda guy to go shirt-less, so i used a pair of boxers to wipe my window off. haahahahah now i have a tow rig so no more driving my rig to wheel.

but a squeege sounds like a great idea. or fenders/ flares.
 
Lee the best advice and product I have used for many years is a windjammer. It does nothing for the rear area, but sure keeps the rain and mist from getting to your windshield. A Wind Jammer along with a bikini top, and I have hit the road with little to no soaking at all.
Jeep on hauler, or trailer, traveling to or from wheeling far away, going through monsoons, no issues, but I was running doors for added protection.
Otherwise, rainX on the inside, but you still get wet as the water will drip down on you, inside your windshield gasket, and onto your electrical system, which can be a bad thing.
