Dodge 2500

I got a 99 dodge 2500 V8 that I am haveing problems with the trans.
It has began shifting in and out of gears. If i am doing 35 and give it gas it drops down then jumps to 3 then back down. Not just at 35 any speed Its does more on take offs.
I was told that it could be a computer issuse.
Any advice or ideas what i should do ?

If you think it could dbe a computer issue then I would have someone read the codes and see if it's throwing any for the trans.

Then I would take it to a trans shop and have them check it out. Hopefully all you need is a good servicing.

Dodge Autos bring the suck.....I have one too.

Could very well be a pressure issue in the valve body. There are some electronic sensor that can go bad. Easy cheap fix compaired to a rebuild. Hope this helps.
