Yes. When loaded, mine used to shudder through 3rd gear. There are no driveline vibes now in any gear, loaded or not.

I thought about it. The problem is that once you start polishing it, it's hard to stop.

Yeah and if you polish it too long all the grease will shoot out of the joint and then it no good.
