will a 5 lug pattern wheel that fits a dodge ram fit a jeep cherokee? (88xj)???

looking to buy rims and this was the only description i could get.

The lug pattern on the Ram is bigger then the Jeep lug pattern 5x5.5(might be wrong on the exact measurement) on the Ram and 5x4.5 on the Jeep.

Yes the Ram is 5x5.5 and the XJ is 5x4.5

depends on the ram. pre 81 trucks were 5x4.5, same as the jeep cherokee. anything newer is 5x5.5.

I used to be one of those mopar or nocar guys, back in the day. Also had A 1978 ramcharger. The A-body cars had 5 on 4" lug pattern, until 1973 then they had 5 on 4.5" my ramcharger had 5 on 4.5" also. To measure lug pattern you skip one lug hole & measure center to center of two holes. in other words one hole between the two you are measuring
