Does a TJ have two glovebox straps?

Just got a TJ and the glovebox strap is a hard white plastic that's broken. I think there was one on each side. I want to order replacements today and what I am finding for replacment looks like there is just one strap and it's fabric. Maybe there's just one on mine instead of two? Mine is a 97 if it matters.

yeah just one, and mine is black fabric, just like the door straps.

Looked and mine does have two. See the white plastic on each side? Maybe it's an early version.

ive had many 97s and they have all had a black fabric strap on the right side.

thats either some real early 97 stuff as you mentioned or some booty fab zip tie hack job.

I've had probably a dozen TJ's and I've never seen one that didn't have a single black nylon strap.

I had a 97 in April of 96 when they first came out and it had the black strap. Definately looks like booty fab.

I have a 97 also, the strap doesn't attach where the plastic ones are in the picture.

It attached inside the dash
