So I'm thinking hard about a trade offer for my ZJ on 1 tons and coilovers for this Franken-Jeep. Wanted to see if anyone knew any more info on it.

Owner says it's a 73' Scout frame and chassis, XJ body, 383 sbc, TH400, twin sticks, 60 and 14 bolt. Sitting on 42's. Haven't gotten much other info than that. Want to get a better scoop before I make a 3 hour trip to Hickory from Raleigh to check it out.

Frankenjeep for sure... kinda cool but I'd be real careful to inspect what kind of weird engineering happens to get that together.

Yes, I'm very curious how they attached a unibody XJ to a frame. I know any swap vehicle will most likely have wiring rats nests from hell too.

Looks WAY too tall for my taste and sounds heavy.

Yeah if you ask me its akin to stacked frames.

I've seen it at the Mud Pits a few times in the past... (Year or more ago) and it seemed to do well, had plenty of power... definitely didn't have much flex.
