With 3 fairly large "hounds" (55#, 65#, 75#) and several cats constantly drinking, we have to fill their bowls WAY too often...
We tried a 2.5gal(?) waterer, but flipping the jug/container (no handle) onto the base was a total PITA!
Has anyone found a large waterer that can be filled from the top? Or one that isn't a PITA to put into the base?
Absolute last resort will be a livestock waterer that connects to water line and uses a float valve to keep filled. It has a perforated partition to keep the float valve from damage, but the last thing I want is a flooded finished basement from it getting hung...
