Does anyone know where I can get/ order DOM locally in Durham? I have called around any can’t seem to find a source. I am looking to get 6 sticks or 1.5” .120 wall.

@trailhugger I think we got DOM from Steel Bar in Greensboro. They delivered.

Dillon supply has been pretty reasonable on prices and they should be reasonably close.

The one in Greensboro doesn't or at least did not keep any of it in stock last I checked.

Metal Supermarkets is the only one in the area that I know of that keeps DOM in stock.

We ordered 1-3/4" .120 from a place in Wilson... BMG Metals. 252-243-2600

Thanks guys. I used to use Dillion Supply but they closed the Durham store and the location in Raleigh can’t figure it out.

Alro Steel in Greensboro had it in stock a few months ago. I got 1.5" .120 and 1.75" .120 DOM.

contact Fabco in cary. (small welding shop) or the metal supermarket in garner. both are cheaper and easier to deal with then dillon supply.

fabco dosen't have much stock but, always order what i needed if they didn't have it (qty/length). I never had to wait more then couple days to pick it up and they were always lower than dillon so I stopped even checking with dillon.

Believe it or not, Stock Car Steel has some good prices sometimes, too. Free delivery after $200, I think.

I checked Dillion here in Charlotte and they were high. I ordered about 10 sticks of different sizes from Ryerson they were cheaper than anyone I priced. I picked up. But they will deliver. The more you buy the cheaper it is.
