scared to death!!!!!

Yep, scares them to death!!!! Bawhahahahaha!!!!

Sorry, couldn't help myself..

We got a donkey and a draft mule with our horses. They have killed coyotes and stray dogs. Even went after our pig. Once they cross the fence line its game on.

Friend of mine just told me a related story yesterday. His wife and daughter were fishing at a neighbors farm pond recently when some feral pigs came out of the woods and headed towards the pond. The farmers donkey came after them and got a few hoofs on one of them. The farmer found it in the woods the next day, dead. Pretty awesome, wish I could have seen it go down:lol:

Donkeys are also put in a stall with a mean horse. Horse tries to flex it's muscles, Donkey kicks the shit out of it. No more mean
Horse.

wow, I have a new found respect for donkeys.

They are shorter and cant run as fast.:smokin:

As mentioned, donkeys are in there as protection for livestock. We have always had one with our cows, they will trample any wild dogs, coyotes, or cats. I watched one take down a large, stray, rottweiler mix once, they will distract them, move slow to draw attention, then when they get to close they will kick or trample, once they are down they jump up and down and step on the offender.
