So a mine sweeper runs aground. I'm guessing here, but I'd imagine that a mine sweeper has a pretty sophisticated underwater sonar. More so than a typical boat. And they ran aground! Wow!

I like how the park service is all bent out of shape b/c the Navy won't let them come inspect the reef *right now*.

Like it's going to make a difference whether they come look today or next month.

We had a wreck the other day, I posted a picture of the vehicles in my picture thread.


and yeah you would think that a ship designed to find things in the water would have to worry about running aground. Between this and all the problems in Japan, we dont have a very good image in the Pacific.
