I bought that 91 caprice wagon that was on here awhile back, but I need door keys cut. Don't have any, so it needs to be from the VIN with the chevy lock codes. Called city chevy, victory chevy and the one in gastonia and no luck. 1 of them did say they could pull the lock codes, but their key machine couldn't cut.

I called Eastway lock and key and they quoted a few hundred for the whole shebang, which I'd rather not spend just for some door keys on a DD.

Does anyone here know a dealer that can cut keys off vin for such a old car, or a locksmith that won't charge a arm and a leg to make them?

Thanks in advance.

I was hoping to find a semi local dealer or locksmith. Door keys for these cars aren't rocket science.
Not rocket science, but having somebody mail you a key is a lot easier than driving all over the state.

What door locks are there other than the driver, passenger, and tailgate? This set has 3... Then you could take it to any local auto shop and have them put them in, don't need a locksmith to replace the cylinders...
