I actually made one of those to pull my trailer around in the yard with the Cruiser.. The trailer weighs about as much as the Sammy.. Wanna borrow it?

buggy will be back together this weeknd. got all the tires to hold air.
rear shaft came right out, looks like it'll be pretty simple.

time to order some tube and get ready to start on round 4.5

I totally agree with that, it definately sounds like you have a LEMON on your hands...you should take it back to where you bought it and start asking some questions. i knew the trucks had some problems but i think this is a bit extreme

Round 4.5 You going to replace the cage or just wheel it? Motor run ok now?
Its hard to force the lemon law when the truck as 95k on the ticker. The rear pinion nut back out is what the ford tech says. Dave can attest to how hot that rear end got on the way home. I KNEW that thing was going to lock up before i made it home.
