DPG open invite pics

he definetly gets the big show award, this is what happens when people are introduced to you guys (muddevils), they start driving crazy like.

Chase - you most definately drove the piss outta that truck.. especially over on hornet's nest! Talk about never say die... Did you go back to the crack again after? I don't remember the side of the truck looking THAT bad after the first time (in the morning)

Patrick - the buggy is sa-weeet.. 'course, I never saw you driving it.. :flipoff2:

To all the 'Devils.. thanks again for the invite!

P.S. Were there any pics of my junk in the crack, when it was pitched over like Chase's?

there is no question that i am a shitty driver, hence why i had to buy a rig that worked....

just recall when i was doing a wheelstand and not moving, Greg pipes up and says "back up a little, and turn left", i did, and it walked right out. i know i can't drive, and knowing is half the battle.

You drove it fine, you walked right through the hornets nest. Now lets go to Windrock.

Patrick, you've never seen me drive yet. :p

Looks like a good time, guess I need to get my junk fixed.

i wasn't. :flipoff2: i was better this trip than last, but that buggy makes up for me being a lousy driver. rear steer is where its at.

I had a great time at the DPG on Saturday. Thanks to the Mud Devils for the open invite. They are a great group of guys. It's worth the drive just to watch some of their rigs.

Chase, you've got balls man! What are your plans for the truck now?

R.K.

you make the plans, and i will be there. i have been putting some pennies back to make that trip.

again, it was an awesome open ride, can't wait for the next one....

I think my wife has the balls, notice all the damage is on the passenger side, and she just keeps telling me to do it again b/c we didn't make it. Even after we busted the windshield she was like "let's try again and then was like well will the windshield shatter on us maybe we shouldn't"

As for the truck- Tube for sure (and i like studnuts style), all the glass is coming out, and swapping in a IFS rear end, and runnning spacers and IFS calipers, vented rotors up front to widen the stance a bit, need hydroassist too but i don't know if that is in the budget yet. Of course greg probably won't let me ride with him until i get it b/c he will be tired of telling my weak ass to turn the wheel.

Andy at CRS can tap your PS box( if it is power already) and a ram from tractor supply, hoses and fittings from Northern, and you have an inexspensive hydro assist that works well. Nothing like turning the wheel and it goes!

Kudo's to your wife, not many like that. Now if she knows simple trail fixes, tool ID's and can make biscuits, she's a definate keeper!

That's true.. She's one of the few that I've seen who will ride along through the nasty stuff.. IMO, it takes more to ride in the rig than to drive it...

Must have been a heck of a view with that rock RIGHT THERE in the crack, and then looking at the ground what was it.. 2? 3? times when you got kinda (real) close to going over at hornet's nest?

I got a few pics...my junk broke 10 mins after i got there but oh well. Thats how it goes sometimes...appriciate the help getting my junk out rich. Got the steering studs out just fine and the knuckle seems to be fine. I am going to try not using those washers this time to see if that helps....i have a feeling its not going to like the hydro assist i am about to add. :D
