Dragged a dinosaur out of the woods

It took a bit of tree cutting and tractoring but we finally got it out. It's a 1954 Buick special just a little rusty. I did get the hood open today and found that the engine will turn over by the fan blade pretty cool. The battery is pretty cool too.

I haven't managed to get the trunk open yet there's no telling what's in there.

I only have the one that he sent me. It doesn't show all the crap we had to cut out to get the car out of the woods. But he now has a nice Road that dead ends in a pile of trees

6Volt car battery? .... interesting thing is .... you can still get direct replacements for that!

Looks like a 12V battery. 6V batteries normally have 3 fill caps on top, where 12V batteries have 6 fill caps.

That battery reminded me of my Father in law. He has a laminated receipt from Sears, lifetime battery warrantee for his 56 Chevy. He would get a battery every two years LOL
