Setting my pinion angle. Had it pointed at output and down a few degrees but was told by many it was to high still. Was walked to 10degrees down by a bud if mine. The more i read the more i get it should be 2ish down with a sye and cv driveshaft though. Pics are 5 and 10 down. Ignore the wetspot on the wheel, soaking bleeder with pb blaster. Jeep yj with soa 60 rear.

If the Jeep will not see highway speeds, you'll have a lot more flexibility with angles. Keep in mind that most double cardan joints don't last long at more than 20 degrees. From the looks of yours, I'd say you're at 15. I'd be more concerned with the double cardan than the single joint.

This one looks best, though I might raise it a couple of degrees, depending on how badly the springs wrap under load.

The pinion should be pointed straight at the output with a cv shaft like you have while at ride height. The pinion can be cheated down a few degrees to compensate for it rising while under acceleration and the springs wrapping. But if you put an anti wrap bar on it you would point it back straight at the output.
