Driveshaft centering ball replacement

Has anyone replaced the centering ball on a 1350 double cardan driveshaft? How much of a PITA is it to get the existing one out and get a new one in? While changing the ujoint on the driveshaft I managed to drop most of the needle bearings out of the ball and have no idea if I have them all or even how to get them back in there properly. I need it back together in a week and a half.

I've done it on on 1310 XJ shafts before. Not hella bad but tedious.
