Is it common for a driveshaft to have some rotational play when the vehicle is parked?

I am having some issues when accelerating from 0-10mph as I get vibrations coming from the rear driveshaft during that period. It seems like the yoke and driveshaft are binding but when i inspect the parts they are nowhere near touching, even with the suspension dropped.

The only noticeable (possible) problem is when i grab the drive shaft i can rotate it with a small flick of the wrist.

Is this common of would there be an underlying problem?

What are the specs on your rig?
Some rotational play between the ring and pinion gear are normal. You shouldn't be able to see any up/down or side/side movement in the pinion gear when you you push/pull the driveshaft. Also look at the you joints when you shake the driveshaft. Check the driveshaft U-joints parked, then rotate the driveline 90 degrees and check em again up/down and side/side.

If you need any other specs let me know
2002 TJ w/
2.5" spring/coil suspension lift
adj. track bars
stock control arms

The u-joints have been inspected for play and pulled for needle bearing inspection. All good.

No up/down - side/side play is noticeable either.

When i rotate the driveshaft the yoke rotates with it equally.

I had performed a pinion seal replacement around the same time as the problem started, could i have over torqued the pinion nut and crushed the sleeve? would that be a cause for my problem?
