Ok guys, this may be elementary to some of you, but I'm trying to do this "right" and I'm not afraid to ask questions. And by "right" I mean strong but wanting to save money where I can if at all possible.
What I have:
NP231
78-79 Ford Dana 60 front
2005 (or so I'm told) 14 bolt
Going to be working on the transfer case soon. Will be installing SYE and I have options on what type output yoke I can get. Options are shown in the picture below.
Since I'm basically starting from zero, I wanted to pick your brains on which one to choose.
I'm not opposed to building my own driveshafts from junkyard parts. As the title of the thread says, this is a dedicated trail rig that *might* see 40 mph max in normal driving conditions, so I'm not even sure if a double cardon joint is even needed out back.
